Giving voice to cystic fibrosis has always been the mission of Breathe Bravely. That voice encompasses and includes all individuals no matter a person’s race - extending far beyond a diagnosis and echoing within our greater humanistic community. Breathe Bravely’s core values of courage, community, and connectedness resound within the realities of today, now more than ever. We seek courage to not only listen but to support the voices combating comprehensive systemic hurt and injustices, while promoting a unity within our community that challenges society’s ascribed vulnerabilities and inequities. We seek to promote empathy through a focus on connectedness - listening, speaking the truth, and promoting peaceful resolve. We at Breathe Bravely stand with our community of people of color and fight for an equity and equality in which we all may be afforded the same privileges, rights, and may know the liberty to not only share our voices but have them be heard. Giving voice to cystic fibrosis means giving voice to all people in our community whose lives, no matter the color of your skin, deserve to know respect and equal opportunity. 

Breathe Bravely amplifies the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's stance and position on taking on an active responsibility to provide equitable and accessible care for all in our CF community which includes an increasing number and representation of people of color.
